What’s the Opportunity?
As the Facilities Manager at Vertika, you’ll be pivotal in planning and operational coordination across the entire property portfolio. This role oversees the delivery of professional property services to ensure optimal building operations, compliance and presentation outcomes. Central to this role is the creation of safe, cost-effective environments for our residents in all locations.
You will be joining the Vertika team at a time of exciting growth, with the ability to contribute to the strategic direction of the business immediately.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee reactive and preventative maintenance across the property portfolio.
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain presentation and compliance standards.
- Coordinate capital works projects that meet client needs.
- Support resident relocations for a smooth transition.
- Manage supplier procurement and relationships.
- Handle budget management, forecasting, and cash flow.
- Execute the asset management strategy effectively.
- Lead property tasks related to acquisitions.
Skills and Experience

- A minimum of 5 years in a fast-paced and high-operational tempo Facilities Management role
- A trade background
- High emotional intelligence, with sensitivity and effective communication abilities to communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those with disabilities
- Knowledge and experience in high regulatory compliance sectors.
- Expertise in SDA design categories, standards, and legislation.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated considerable experience.
