Your Role:
As our Group Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and managing our financial operations with precision and insight to ensure we are at our best to support our ambitious goals.
At Seek Lifestyle Group, we’re expanding rapidly, and we need a Group FC with solid hands-on accounting experience to match. If you excel in a fast-paced environment, are comfortable with a variety of tasks, and have a strong focus on financial analysis, reporting, internal controls, and process improvements, this role is ideal.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of month-end processes, maintaining the integrity of financial data and records.
- Develop precise and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Handle monthly BAS/GST obligations, prepare annual income tax returns, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting and tax standards.
- Manage treasury functions and external banking relationships effectively.
What We're Looking For:
Ideally, you’ll have a good mix of the following, but no need to tick every box!
- Must be CA / CPA qualified, with 5-10 years in similar role
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, statutory reporting and ideally NDIS practices
- Expertise in payroll management, including policy development, Award interpretation, taxation, superannuation, and workers' compensation
- Track record of managing finance through M&A
- Strong mentoring and people management skills, with ability to lead and develop a team
