About the Role
- Diverse Duties: Assist with grooming, toileting, meal preparation, medication administration, and household tasks.
- Person-Centred Support: Provide companionship and emotional support, respecting client preferences and privacy.
- Adherence & Reporting: Accurately follow individual support and health plans, and promptly report any concerns or changes in participant condition.
This role is focused on delivering high-quality, personalised support to participants in their own homes and community.
Candidates applying for this In-Home Care role must be ready for a rotating shift roster that includes both short and longer hours across the day, afternoon, and evening. Your availability to work these varying shift lengths is key to ensuring continuous, reliable support for our clients.
About You
- Minimum 3-6 months’ experience or Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Home & Community, Disability, or related field
- Experience working in in-home or community care settings or family member
- Strong communication skills and ability to set professional boundaries
- NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid Certificate, Driver’s Licence, and access to an insured vehicle
