Disability Support Worker - Home & Community, North Ryde
Join our casual home & community care team supporting participants Monday to Sunday. Work 4–5 shifts/week, ideally split morning and afternoon. Starting mid-August.
Our Purpose
At United for Care - Home & Community, we help participants live independently and safely in their own homes. Our personalised care builds meaningful routines while promoting connection, choice, and dignity.
Join as one of 2–3 support workers sharing 31 hours per week across 14 shifts, Monday to Sunday. You must be able to pick up at least 4–5 shifts per week or more, ideally two shifts in one day, 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon. Commences mid-August.

About the Role
- Deliver personalised support to participants in their own homes and community
- Assist with grooming, toileting, meal preparation, medication, and household tasks
- Provide companionship and emotional support, respecting client preferences and privacy
- Follow individual support and health plans accurately
- Report any concerns or changes in participant condition promptly
About You
- Minimum 6 months’ experience or Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Home & Community, Disability, or related field
- Experience working in in-home or community care settings
- Strong communication skills and ability to set professional boundaries
- NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid Certificate, Driver’s Licence, and access to an insured vehicle
