About the Role
We are actively recruiting Permanent Part-Time (PPT) Disability Support Workers to join our team, specializing in supporting clients with Mental Health and Psychosocial needs, particularly across our Inner West, Eastern Suburbs, and North Shore service areas.
These stable PPT roles offer guaranteed weekly hours (either 22.8 or 30.4 hours) with shifts focused on:
- Targeted Psychosocial Support: Providing meaningful, person-centred support to NDIS participants with Mental Health and Psychosocial disabilities.
- Complex Needs Management: Managing more complex needs, which may include clients with behaviours of concern, trauma, or forensic backgrounds. This involves expertly implementing behaviour support plans and consistently using de-escalation techniques.
- Diverse Settings: Working within participants’ private homes or in one of our purpose-built Vertical Villages (SIL/SDA).
- Routine and Engagement: Supporting clients with essential daily routines, including personal care, skill-building, and facilitating community access.
- Collaborative Care: Working closely and effectively with allied clinicians, case workers, and families to ensure a unified approach to client goals
About you
We’re looking for people with a range of experience and qualifications:
- Minimum 6–12 months’ experience in disability, aged care, home care, mental health or related fields
- Bachelor's Degree/Certificate III/IV/Diploma in Disability, Individual Support, Aged Care, or similar (preferred)
- Strong communication, emotional intelligence, and boundary setting
- Experience with high-intensity or complex behaviours (advantageous but not required for all roles)
- NDIS Worker Screening, First Aid, Driver’s Licence and insured vehicle
