You’ll provide direct support while also mentoring and guiding a team of support workers. Your leadership will help ensure safe, consistent, and person-centred care across all shifts.
What You’ll Do

- Monitor and implement clinical care needs such as PEG feeding, midazolam, epilepsy management, bowel care, and manual hoisting
- Work closely with allied health professionals, behaviour support practitioners, and families
- Guide and coach support workers on shift – lead by example
- Ensure compliance with individual care plans, NDIS quality standards, and restrictive practice authorisations
- Assist with onboarding new team members and building a strong team culture
- Keep accurate, timely shift notes and incident reports
About You
- Minimum 3 years' experience and Certificate III/IV in Disability, Mental Health, Community Services, or related fields
- Experience in high physical/clinical care and psychosocial/behavioural support
- Confident with high-risk supports including hoisting, bowel care, seizure support, and medication administration
- Experienced in supporting people with mental health conditions, trauma backgrounds, and justice system involvement
- Calm under pressure with strong communication and decision-making skills
- Solid understanding of professional boundaries, safeguarding, and person-centred practice
- Comfortable supporting across a 24/7 rotating roster, including weekends and overnight shifts
